Diako Art is pleased to present Azarakhsh Farahani in a captivating exhibition blending painting and animation. His works offer a striking portrait of contemporary Iranian society, addressing themes such as the condition of women, environmental challenges, and social struggles, with a particular focus on water access issues.
In addition to his paintings, Farahani unveils "The Giant Black Rock", an animation inspired by Iran's contemporary history. The work tells the story of a village where a gigantic black rock blocks the river's course, threatening the survival of its inhabitants. This animation symbolizes the fight against oppression and the quest for resilience, while also exploring universal themes.
Presented for the fifth time at the Echomusée Gallery in Paris from April 6 to 12, 2024, the exhibition has been met with great success, allowing audiences to discover Farahani's committed and humanistic art. This work transcends cultural boundaries and invites poignant reflection on social and political realities.
