In March 2024, on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, Diako Art collaborated with Magnitude Zéro, Empow'Her, and Sist'Her to organize an event combining creative workshops and an exhibition. The goal was to raise awareness and give a voice to migrant women and survivors of sexual violence.
A embroidery workshop, led by artist Niyaz Azadikhah, allowed 21 participants to create patterns and slogans on the theme of women's rights, fostering expression and sisterhood. Meanwhile, the exhibition showcased visual artworks reflecting the realities of migrant women facing violence.
This event combines art and activism to raise public awareness about migration and sexual violence issues, while providing a space for support and solidarity for women.
